This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Northern California Land Rover Club. To celebrate this milestone, the club will once again host its annual member appreciation weekend, Oktroverfest, which will take place September 30 to October 2, 2016.
Under a new Board of Directors the club is pulling out all the stops to make this year’s event the biggest and best ever. Traditionally, this event marks the end of the season, and it tends to bring out a mix of both individuals and families.
For those who will camp, the event base will be in the Hollister SVRA camping area (7800 Cienega Road). Non-campers have numerous hotel options available just 15 minutes away in the town of Hollister.
This event is open to drivers of differing skill levels, from beginners to advanced. The club also has Instructors from Land Rover Experience on hand to offer advise and training. There is also a whole array of non-driving activities including wine/beer tasting and s’mores around the fire pit.
